Some of the best dishes I’ve ever had back to back. I would come here again with my wife, my parents, my friends — anyone willing to sit with me for 20 courses.

Pizzeria with sourdough base and making their own charcuterie and cheeses. This place is famous for its pizzas, recognized as one of the best in the world (according to their website). They produce their own charcuterie and cheese on the floor above the restaurant and the pizza base is made with sourdough and baked at 450 C.We ordered two pizzas:* Tomato passata, BÆST ’nduja, smoked BÆST Mozzarella, spring onions, oregano.* Chanterelles, BÆST Goat Cheese, parsley puree, parsley. We definitely would rank this pizza amongst the best we’ve had, super nice sourdough and the ingredients on top were very good as well, and a perfect temperature and texture.

A creative, casual Korean restaurant with an unconventional menu. Juju’s reimagined classic dishes speak with a Korean accent but in a familiar tone that’s still recognisable to people perhaps less confident with Korean food. The chilli cucumber, nori vinegar fries and the chilled green tea noodles are must orders.

Extremely tasty food at the former location of Noma.Barr serves extremely tasty food at the former location of Noma. I usually leave the place having eaten a bit too much, as the food is delicious and quite rich, served in big portions. The chef, Thorsten Schmidt, is doing very creative dishes but also finding inspiration from Denmark and the Nordic region. I used to be in the Danish culinary team with Torsten, who is a very clever chef and a warm person.

Probably my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. The flavours are new, refreshing and fantastic. Sanchez is probably my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. I’m no expert on Mexican cuisine, so whenever I have Mexican food I feel that the flavours are new, refreshing and fantastic. And I think that Rosio Sanchez and her team have really succeeded in making something authentically unique. It’s very much their own flavours and Sanchez gives great variation to the Copenhagen restaurant scene with all the Nordic stuff. And I love their Michelada drink - it's my favourite.

Great for a long lunch. I love the place.

Approachable yet expertly handled Danish Seafood restaurant, by Beau Clugston. You dont have to go far to find someone who worked at Noma these days… but Beau Clugston is genuine alumni, having been head chef for years. He has now gone out on his own with this elegant yet comfortable seafood restaurant. The quality is second to none but with the fuss you often find in modern high end dining.Deliciousness reigns supreme on the a la carte or tasting menus… a showcase of local delicacies.Oysters; Cold cut octopus & raw mussels with herbs; seafood tartare with nori; soft shell crab; sea snails; mackerel; langoustine, all really speak for the region. Produce is top shelf throughout. The floor is upbeat and the drinks suitably scrumptious. This needs to be on your copeenhagen list!Pro tip is a few beers at Cafe Malmo down the road after!

Italian restaurant with natural wines and lots of fun guaranteed. This was our second visit to Barabba, and we can tell you straight away: we ate well, we drank well and we had an amazing time here. The energy of the owners of Barabba is endless and they create a super fun atmosphere while you get served very nice pasta and get to choose from a wide variety of natural wines. They offer a la carte but also the option of the tasting menu with the possible add-on of their signature dish (an absolute must) which is the spaghetti with butter and caviar. We went for the tasting plus the add on and some of the dishes were:* Spaghetti with butter, colatura and caviar.* Grilled octopus, spicy courgette & courgette flowers.* Spaghetti with raw red prawns & candied lemons.* Eggplant & miso tortelli, red pepper water & caperberry.* Apricot, tonka & chocolate biscuit. We enjoyed the whole meal, and also think it’s very fairly priced, especially considering this is Copenhagen, and we also liked the wine list here. No doubt a place we look forward going back often when in the city.

Good and Always Tasty Food😋 Silberbauer’s Bistro is one of my absolute favourites in Nørrebro, Cph. for casual lunch or dinner and real good food and wine. Don’t miss the signature starter blue shell mussels with aioli. Other good starters are the pissaladiére (onion tarte with black olives) and in season with tomatoes. Raw radish or fennel with roe dip or sashimi of zander or cod and orange kosho. Sometimes you can get plateau de fruit de mere. For mains go for a turbot or another whole fish prepared on bones. Sometimes you can have sweet bread with langoustine bisque – that is crazy good. Vitello tannato, Danish squid, Gazpazo and tomato filled with crab salad. And don’t miss one of the signature desserts lemon tarte and crème brûlée. Chef Mathias Silberbauer opened Silberbauer’s Bistro 2021 as a French fish bistro with few vegetable and meat dishes and good desserts. It has developed a bit lately with some more dishes with meat and poultry. The food is seasonal and as a regular the variation is fine and it is always good… always good. You get good wine and I like the relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Very fair prices.
Restaurant Koan in Copenhagen merges Korean-inspired ideas with Scandinavian influences, reflecting the personal background of chef Kristian Baumann. The warm, wood-filled setting has a calm, inviting feel, making it an appealing spot for those who appreciate thoughtful cooking.

Koan is a harmonious blend of the chef’s personal rediscovery and inspirations from Korean street food, barbecue, and sacred monasteries, from the intricately pleated mandu and zesty sorbet of Swedish kiwi touched with wasabi to the gamasot-influenced pot brimming with three rice variants, each adding its unique texture and fragrance, and the pristine kohlrabi kimchi.Witnessing chef Baumann, unrestrained and fervently engaged, is a joy. He's profoundly influenced by his homeland sojourns and the very essence of freedom, weaving the delicate balance of Korean sweet, tart, umami nuances and the country's sublime aesthetics into each meal.

A hidden oasis in CopenhagenThrough graffiti-adorned concrete walls, up a rusty service elevator, down a hallway where rock music and the scent of marijuana seep from band practice rooms is a hidden oasis. Restaurant Alouette has a Michelin star, but is situated in the unlikeliest of places. A beautiful juxtaposition of grunge and luxury. The five-course tasting menu is quick and punchy (and very reasonably priced), unlike other more drawn-out dining experiences. Highlights include the pain au lait with apple and bacon butter and the turbot drenched in chicken sauce.
