Hole in the wall seafood heavenTwo tables of six plus a small counter. Super fresh, seasonable, sustainably sourced and extremely reasonably priced shellfish and fish with a daily changing menu. Mostly natural wines, noisy & fun wibe. Olive Davoux’s über-tiny place in the northern Paris (10th arr) is not for everyone. If you are looking for peace and privacy, don´t go here. Sur Mer is all about passion and buzz. But where the atmosphere might be a bit rough, what´s on a plate is all about sophistication. Lovely place.

Japanese quick-service restaurant serving udon noodles and tempura.Sanukiya, in the 2nd district near Opéra, is a really cool place, I love it. Their specialty is udon, the big tick noodles. I usually go with the Hiyashi tempura udon, which has vegetables and big shrimp in tempura and you pour a very umami sauce on top of it. Another favorite is the kakuni, a pork belly that's slowly cooked and they serve it with hard boiled egg in a sauce with a little bit of mustard on the side.
