Pizzeria with sourdough base and making their own charcuterie and cheeses. This place is famous for its pizzas, recognized as one of the best in the world (according to their website). They produce their own charcuterie and cheese on the floor above the restaurant and the pizza base is made with sourdough and baked at 450 C.We ordered two pizzas:* Tomato passata, BÆST ’nduja, smoked BÆST Mozzarella, spring onions, oregano.* Chanterelles, BÆST Goat Cheese, parsley puree, parsley. We definitely would rank this pizza amongst the best we’ve had, super nice sourdough and the ingredients on top were very good as well, and a perfect temperature and texture.

Italian restaurant with natural wines and lots of fun guaranteed. This was our second visit to Barabba, and we can tell you straight away: we ate well, we drank well and we had an amazing time here. The energy of the owners of Barabba is endless and they create a super fun atmosphere while you get served very nice pasta and get to choose from a wide variety of natural wines. They offer a la carte but also the option of the tasting menu with the possible add-on of their signature dish (an absolute must) which is the spaghetti with butter and caviar. We went for the tasting plus the add on and some of the dishes were:* Spaghetti with butter, colatura and caviar.* Grilled octopus, spicy courgette & courgette flowers.* Spaghetti with raw red prawns & candied lemons.* Eggplant & miso tortelli, red pepper water & caperberry.* Apricot, tonka & chocolate biscuit. We enjoyed the whole meal, and also think it’s very fairly priced, especially considering this is Copenhagen, and we also liked the wine list here. No doubt a place we look forward going back often when in the city.

Succesfull Italian and Japanese fusion in a very well designed restaurant Restaurant Levi is an extremely welcome addition to the Copenhagen dining scene. The food is a fusion of Italian and Japanese food which when you think about is an obvious combination with their product driven approach, the wine list is extensive and has all the right bottles and the decor is extremely cool. That to an extent where it balances on a knifes edge of being too posh but it is exactly on the right side. It’s just cool. All in all a great place and a perfect place in case you want to impress your significant other for a date

Crazy good handmade pasta and dishes from Emilia-RomagnaBoutique Emilia is making some of the very best pasta in the center of Copenhagen.Noemi and Stefano run the small eatery with only 16 seats. Most of the dishes are from the Italian province Emilia-Romagna.Filled pasta like ravioli with asparagus and pancetta, tortellini with parma ham and the balanzoni (from Bologna) filled with mortadella, ricotta, parmigiano and pistachios is so good as well as the tagliatelle, rosetta and sometimes they have a perfectly made lasagna. The pasta is made with good skills and is so tasty. You can also have crescentina modenese what is is a flatbread from Modena and served with charcuterie and a slow cooked onion marmalade with tomato. Boutique Emilia is so popular that you have to make a reservation several months ahead – or give it a try, if you are lucky there is room for you.

Sicilian flavours and great bread by Christian Puglisi. All day dining, including a nice breakfast-brunch.Mirabelle Spiseria is the renewed Sicilian inspired all day eatery in Nørrebro by chef Christian Puglisi, next door to his other restaurant, Bæst. The legendary bakery and eatery has now been turned into a proper Sicilian osteria with a focus on pasta and Sicilian flavours inspired by Puglisi’s Sicilian heritage. I had the breakfast, which already gives some nice flavours of the new setup, with scrambled eggs with nduja butter, kale with olive oil and Sicilian brioche with pistachio custard. The breakfast can be turned into lunch by adding a beef tartar with ground dried tomato capuliato, capers and oregano. The lunch and dinner menu features dishes from crudo of monkfish to braised rabbit with olives and spaghetti with anchovies, and, of course almond granita. For those who are missing the sourdough bread from Mirabelle Bakery: it’s still served with the food and can be bought in limited amounts for takeout.
