A creative, casual Korean restaurant with an unconventional menu. Juju’s reimagined classic dishes speak with a Korean accent but in a familiar tone that’s still recognisable to people perhaps less confident with Korean food. The chilli cucumber, nori vinegar fries and the chilled green tea noodles are must orders.

Slurp has become a classic. I usually have the pork tonkotsu.Slurp Ramen Joint has become a classic. It's one of the very few places in Copenhagen that actually keep on having a line of people outside. They were one of the very first to be able to do something fast foodish or low key into something great, I really enjoy going there. I usually have the pork tonkotsu ramen. I’ve heard that their saffron ramen is good too.Photo credit: Vojtech Tesarek

Delicious Japanese Food and SakeKappo Ando serves very good Japanese food and sake. We only have few ones at this level in Copenhagen and it is like in Japan and with local Danish fish and vegetables. An eatery with good lively atmosphere and where you want to come back to again and again. Here are some examples: Great tasty fresh and beautiful sashimi with kombu & wasabi and so tasty. Trout along with miso, asparagus and morels. Crisp monkfish karaage … good cabbage with fresh sesame oil, tsukemono of daikon, spicy sheep curry the Portugese way. Very nice “beak to tail” yakitori with lots of cuts from chicken on sticks and made on a robata grill and fire and wonderful mochi with strawberries. The place is run in collaboration between the sake sommelier Henrik Ando Levinsen who is serving a lot of different and wonderful types of Japanese sake. His wife Akiko Ando Levinsen is the head chef and the friend Mads Battefeld from Sushi Anaba is somehow part of it all.

Koan is a harmonious blend of the chef’s personal rediscovery and inspirations from Korean street food, barbecue, and sacred monasteries, from the intricately pleated mandu and zesty sorbet of Swedish kiwi touched with wasabi to the gamasot-influenced pot brimming with three rice variants, each adding its unique texture and fragrance, and the pristine kohlrabi kimchi.Witnessing chef Baumann, unrestrained and fervently engaged, is a joy. He's profoundly influenced by his homeland sojourns and the very essence of freedom, weaving the delicate balance of Korean sweet, tart, umami nuances and the country's sublime aesthetics into each meal.

Straightforward and tasty food with a great balance of flavours and perfect for washing down with some Tsing tao.Doesn't happen often but managed to over order but luckily I have some char siu pork neck in my jacket pocket for a late night snack or a delicious breakfast. Good music, great lighting and friendly service, will go again and bring some friends so we can have the whole menu.

Korean inspired casual restaurant and natural wine bar. This is the perfect place in Copenhagen for a cheaper tasty meal and some nice bottles and natural wine. We came here especially for the Korean fried chicken, but let us show you the whole rundown of what we had:* Grilled white asparagus & ddeok skewer with pine nut dressing and dried shrimp.* Beef tartare with cucumber and ramson.* Korean fried chicken.* Galbi rice with pork neck, soy cured egg yolk and house bbq sauce. We enjoyed our meal here, especially the fried chicken, and maybe the only one we didn’t love was actually the galbi rice. On the other side, the wine selection was quite nice and diverse.
