Probably my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. The flavours are new, refreshing and fantastic. Sanchez is probably my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. I’m no expert on Mexican cuisine, so whenever I have Mexican food I feel that the flavours are new, refreshing and fantastic. And I think that Rosio Sanchez and her team have really succeeded in making something authentically unique. It’s very much their own flavours and Sanchez gives great variation to the Copenhagen restaurant scene with all the Nordic stuff. And I love their Michelada drink - it's my favourite.

Choose from a classic Copenhagen set (home baked sourdough buns with whipped butter and cheese), perfectly creamy porridge or signature breakfast dishes such as savoury waffle with egg salad or with whipped mascarpone, elderflower and rhubarb jam. Not to be missed are baked on the premises “croissants” - sweet pastries of perfectly layered pastry filled with lemon curd and dipped in poppy seed or with miso caramel and sesame seeds. Delicious breakfast, super famous butter tower, cute vibe, great coffee and all-day fresh breakfast and brunch. Of course, this is one of the most recommended spots in Copenhagen for a reason. Seeing the whipped butter tower from the cover in real life is something else. The place is bright and cozy. As always, I loved the open kitchen, so it was quite meditative to observe the preparation of perfect plates. Famous morning plate featuring a soft-boiled egg, sourdough bread, 24-month comté cheese, jam, and whipped butter, is delightfully tasty even though the ingredients seem basic. Almond blueberry pancakes with vanilla cream were good, but the texture is more cake-like than fluffy-pancake, so if you don’t expect this you’re good.. I would give it a try if you want but I wouldn’t wait in line for it.

To be honest, I don’t know how to describe the overall theme of Dzidra. But it’s one of my all-time favourite cafés in Copenhagen. They’ve found a way to make café menus exciting again with changing menus and great pop-ups. Although we mainly go there for their amazing scones with whipped butter and jam. Their mille crêpe should also be serious business and whenever they announce the return of the sticky toffee pudding I’ll be the first in line.
