Right in front of my favorite Greek restaurant in Milan, a more informal version has recently opened, focused on pairings of numerous Greek labels (I really appreciated the proposal of an Asyrtiko from the island of Anafi, near Santorini) and small dishes (meze) to share in a modern setting with soft lighting where pretty candles on all the tables and the counter light up and warm the atmosphere, colorful painted ceilings and a small open kitchen where the dishes are cooked and composed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of proposals with land and sea ingredients; interesting spicing in the roasted cauliflower with raisins and parsley sauce; delicious, creamy and very fresh tzatziki; funny contemporary transformation of “fish & chips” with potatoes like a millefeuille together.
Each dish encourages curiosity to taste another.
