Romance thrives in the details here at @maisonbouludsg, the sun-kissed alfrescos spotting slow turning rattan fans over rooms filled with white linen chairs and azure blue drapes. Downstairs, it's full-on glamour - intricate moldings and plump banquettes are combined with more natural materials like rattan dividers and fabric woven lamp shades for a nonchalance from Riveria style that's hard to replicate.
Food exists in the same vein. French riveria cuisine benefitting ffom many elements of Italian, Tunisian and even Moroccan cooking that makes it so much more crave worthy. The Foie gras served alongside roasted apple and quinoa is comfort food upscalification. Fish dishes are a real stronghold here and they come drenched in garlic spiked sunlight and olive slicked vivacity. Case in point, the Sea Trout with Brussel sprouts marmalade and drizzled in lemon chicken jus.
Another favorite of ours was the jumbo lump crab linguine. Just a touch spicy and compulsively luscious. No exaggeration.
