Top class cinnamon buns, pastries, coffee and breads.Get your cinnamon or cardamom buns from this café and bakery on the bustling street of Åsögatan. Aside from beautiful buns Pascal also has a great selection of croissants (ask for almond!), cakes, sometimes madeleines and sandwiches, plus more. Pascal also cooks up lunch: like soup with a toastie on. the side. Bonus: Very good coffee selection; both in terms of beans and pours (like Chemex).

Big words, but I would really say that Stora Bageriet has the best buns in Stockholm! Come here for breakfast, lunch or fika. It’s cozy inside, but they do have a big terrace outside as well.

The best place if you want to go and have traditional Swedish bread at the moment is at Svedjan in the Södermalm district. They’ve also had an ice cream shop next door. It's extremely popular, so go there on a good hour because it's always queue for the bread and for their kanelbullar, the cinnamon rolls. The bread is very well made. It's on the very opposite side of the city where I live, but I still go there once a week to buy bread. They also serve the amazing coffee from Koppi in Helsingborg. So it's a bit of a nostalgia to drink coffee for me as well there. It's great. They do traditional rye bread as well, and they also have weekly specials and everything. I think if you're in Stockholm, Svedjan is the place to go to if you want to experience a real Swedish bakery.

Great coffee and bread in downtown Stockholm? The Stureplan location of Café Pascal is a hole in the wall coffee bar and bakery with all the pour over and special coffees, breakfast ”fralla” with cheese, ham etc and flaky, slightly dense, but super flavoursome croissants. Try the rye with avocado and egg sandwich. Small lunch soup and sandwich offerings, too.
