restaurant démodé

The last few months have been a very positive surprise in the sence that it has been a long time since that many interesting restaurants have opened in Copenhagen. One restaurant that has definently flew under the radar in the influencer community is Demode . Helmed by the ever talented Rasmus Grønbech. Démodé serves dishes from the South of France and they serve them well. There is a white table cloth on the table and white shirts for the waiters as well, but when it comes to the food its simple and delicious. Think fresh tomatoes with drops of olive oil, white asparagus wit caperers and the most delicious simple desserts. More to follow on that for tomorrows post but lets just say that we actually ordered extra of 2 desserts with a total of 6 desserts for 4 people:-) Even though French food has played a huge part of the gastronomic scene the last couple of years Démodé is really bringing something new to the table through both the selection of dishes but also the skill set that Rasmus brings and not least the combinations that he puts together which for me was a very positive surprise.
