Expert recommendation

With this place we complete our trilogy of Rafa Zafra’s restaurants (the other ones are Estimar in Barcelona and Casa Jondal in Ibiza), and this one specifically has been our favorite experience so far! The seafood and fish they have here is just absolute top notch quality, which justifies the price they charge, which isn’t cheap we must warn you (but we would happily pay it again). Without further due, let’s focus on what we ordered: * Sea urchin with prawns and caviar. * Crayfish carpaccio with caramelized onions (tribute to “El Bulli 1995”). * Fried monkfish tails. * Fried stingray in a Sanluqueño dressing and roasted garlic alioli. * Sea bream with a side of asparagus with Romesco butter. * Cheesecake. The sea urchin was maybe our favorite bite, just simple and delicious, highlighting the ingredients, but we will be honest and say the we maybe would have like it as much even without the caviar. The crayfish carpaccio is a classic and we’ve had it in Estimar Barcelona and also at Pakta, and this dish never disappoints. The fried stuff is super tasty as well, and really well cooked, lovely! The sea bream (besugo) was the surprise of the night for us, one of the best fish we’ve ever had, and with this dish, the sea bream has officially become one of our favorite fishes to eat! Last but not least, the cheesecake, we thought this one was even better than the one in Barcelona (which we also love), and is one of our favorite cheesecakes now.
