Joké Bakare presides over her small but magnificent kitchen, cooking outstanding food from Nigeria and West AfricaI love Chishuru and visit regularly. Joké is an immensely talented cook, with a great chef's fierce ambition and focus, and a great host's warmth and charm. The menu is short, but in constant evolution, and whenever I eat there I find my palate pushed and excited in entirely new and unexpected ways.
