Award-winning Brazilian chef and restaurateur Manoella 'Manu' Buffara is making a mark in Brazilian gastronomy and putting Curitiba on the global culinary map. Her restaurant Manu is the first-ever in Brazil led by a woman chef to exclusively serve a tasting menu. Since its opening in 2021, Manu has consistently been placed in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants List. Buffara's exceptional skills have earned her the title of Best Female Chef in Latin America by 50 Best, and she has also ranked #48 in The Best Chef Awards worldwide in 2022. Recently, she released her debut cookbook, 'Manu: Recipes and Stories from My Brazil', where she shares her journey, inspiration and recipes.
