Classic Spanish cuisine with really good produce, fresh fish and seafood and just an overall great atmosphere. On this occasion we ordered the following: * Potato and artichoke “tortilla”. * “Coquinas” (clams). * Grilled “Virrey” (Red Bream). * “Torrijas”. The tortilla was our favorite, but we really enjoyed everything. A place to return, and perfect for a day where you don’t have a reservation, given they go on a first come first serve basis.

NOS Restaurant in Madrid offers a relaxed dining experience with nicely presented food. Their cocktails are a standout, though wines by the glass are more limited. The overall atmosphere is inviting and the dishes are prepared with care.

Insane pizzas and natural wines are a combo that’s here to stay Insane pizzas and natural wines are a combo that’s here to stay and Picsa is a great example of that. The delicious, naturally leavened pies (made with a mix of three different flours) they serve here are thought to be for two and you can choose to have two “flavours” on each circle of dough. Try the “Calabresa a la antigua”, with tomato, ‘nduja de Calabria, piparras and olives from Aragón; or the “pato confitado e higos”, a mix of shredded confit duck with figs and fresh herbs. Most of the pizzas obviously have cheese but the favoured dairy is not the typical mozzarella - it’s a house made cheese that mixes influences from Galicia and other (secret) parts of the world. For dessert go for the simple “flan de huevo” with “dulce de leche” and whipped cream or the indulgent chocolate tart with “dulce de leche”.

Best Fish & Chips in town This restaurant first opened in Barcelona (and now has several venues spread out throughout the city) and is now present in the Justicia neighborhood, in Madrid. The place is small, casual and modern, serving amazing fish & chips (crunchy and incredibly fresh), as well as other dishes such as breaded shrimp with nut miso, calamari sandwich on brioche bread, lobster roll or octopus with brava sauce.
