The Robey Hotel, at the nexus of Bucktown and Wicker Park, is one of the best places to stay in town for a few reasons: it's next to the Damen Ave. Blue Line train, which gets you to O'Hare Airport in 30 minutes; it's in the middle of an actual Chicago neighborhood, and it has a few dining and drinking options. There's Robey Cafe on the ground floor, a Cabana Club on 6, and up on the roof, The Up Room, with my favorite view of the city. The drinks are also noteworthy.
