Kavurmacı Göze offers only one dish; kavurma. Kavurma is a traditional sautéed meat (in Italian would be carne stufata). Here they use different cuts of beef and it is cooked in wood fire for several hours in its own fat and juice. The result is tender, juicy and smoky flavour bomb in mouth. Accompany your kavurma with white rice and don’t forget to order their ayran either.
Göze for me is “the comfort food” in Istanbul.
