Taiki Rattanapong’s Homeburg is a kind of burger omakase experience. With just 8 seats and a bokoing process only doable via Instagram and pre-payment in full this has understandably become a tough seat to snag. Perseverance pays dividends though as the guys have put together a short taster that journeys through a sequence of clever and playful snacks and leads up to the main event. The precision and dedication to their science of elevating the humble burger to this masterful level is truly breathtaking and a privilege to be ringside for. Save room (good luck with that) for a trio of sweet bites including the magnificent ‘My First Time Ever Desert’…apparently Taiki’s first ever stab at a sweet course…not a bad start!
