Bâtard is the bold and charismatic little sister to Chez Jolie. Formerly known as Le Petit Soeur, it recently rebranded with a new vision, shifting its focus a bit from wine to food.
Led by head chef Max Duhs, the menu evolves with the seasons, blending influences from Sweden, the Mediterranean, and a hint of Asia. Dishes like the Saucisse Bâtard—a house-made sausage packed with personality—show that sometimes, less fuss makes for the biggest flavor.
This isn’t a French upscale bistro like its big sister, nor does it try to be. Bâtard moves to its own rhythm.
