Rolfs Hav is perhaps one of the funniest new openings in Stockholm this year. Behind the restaurant are restaurateurs Klas Ljungqvist and Johan Jureskog, who also run Rolfs Kök (which is located just around the corner) and one of the world's best steakhouses, AG.
Rolfs Hav(Ocean) is, just as the name indicates, a restaurant focused on fish and shellfish. Small seafood counter with only a few tables for reservations, otherwise it's a first come first serve basis.
If you book a table, it is their large seafood platter that you commit to. That means fresh oysters, lobster, langoustine, crab claws and shrimp. This plateau naturally varies according to season and availability. It is plentiful, fresh and wonderfully tasty.
There are also hot options that I really like, such as their Parmesan gratin scallops, gratin oysters or clam chowder. If they have the Milk & Cookies on the menu, be sure not to miss.
The wine list is not yet that big, but offers some real treats at a nice price.
