Restaurante Filandón

Filandon is like coming to a country house, but it's inside the city of Madrid - it's just 10 minutes away from the centre. They serve very traditional dishes from different parts of Spain, much of it cooked over open fire. You can get a very good paella like in Valencia, grilled fish like in the Basque Country, one of the best croquetas in town, frituras like fried calamari or a really great grilled chuleta. This is one of my favourites for traditional Spanish food in a beautiful setting.
