I-Sang, that just opened in February 2025, does a take on contemporary Korean food using Thai ingredients. The chef Steve Sanggun Lee used to be the head chef at Hansik in Hong Kong. The food is really good and unlike anything else I’ve visited in Bangkok. It’s very traditional in a way, with the Korean style of eating with kimchi and all that, but instead of using normal cabbage for fermenting, they try and use Thai produce. The restaurant is beautiful and has a very homey, intimate setting.
