When anybody thinks of Australian chefs, and the talent that's attached to one chef, it's Neil Perry. Neil's achieved more than a few in Australia. His restaurant Margaret opened just before COVID and after that it's only accelerated in momentum. It's a very large restaurant in Double Bay in the east of Sydney. Very glamorously appointed room, very beautiful outdoor and indoor seating. Margaret is almost a summary of all the work Neil has done and the restaurants he has opened in his career. Some would call it a steak house, as it been at number 3 in the world in terms of best steak restaurants listing, but Neil loves a big and broad menu, so from steaks to shellfish, salads and an extensive wild fish menu, which is extraordinary. There's no limitations to this restaurant - a celebratory restaurant that you would happily take grandma to, but also be happy to take a couple of 20-year olds there for cocktails and you’d have a blast.
