Thai Dang is one of Chicago's most talented chefs. After stints at high-end hotels and Embeya, he and his wife opened this personal homage to Thai's homeland, Vietnam, in Pilsen, a historically Czech and now Mexican neighborhood, south of downtown. There is a cafe next door with outstanding coffees and other Vietnamese comfort food like rice bowls and banh mi.
