A fresh addition to Milan’s scene and quite an original one in the way it harmoniously combines a place to dine on flavorful small plates, drink excellent cocktails, enjoy good music and socialize. The foundations of the concept are solid: Darío Schiavoni, with extensive experience leading the bar programs at Bvlgari Hotels, serves as head bartender and the mind behind the liquid offering; chef Romualdo Palladino; and the international IT Group, known for venues in Ibiza, London, and other major cities. It’s always a pleasure to discover places where mixology is treated with care and reverence, offering twists on classic drinks without compromising balance. What makes ByIT truly stand out, however, is the way its refined cocktails are paired with small plates that are both beautifully crafted and delicious. Particularly original and well-executed are the green pea hummus and the guacamole. The cocktails are spectacular, especially the Mustachioni, an intense and balanced take on a Negroni made with tequila and Barolo vermouth. Minimalist presentations and a carefully considered interior design lend a soft, modern aesthetic. Open from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am, Monday to Saturday, right in the heart of the Brera district.
