What kind of restaurants should I recommend?

Our focus is on the great places you’d recommend to a friend. Add anything from a white tablecloth joint to a hot dog cart that you genuinely think is worth visiting. Tips for creating a good recommendation can be found in our community guidelines.

Please remember that you are not allowed to recommend a place you own, work at or have any other type of business affiliation with.

I can't find a restaurant I want to recommend from the Search. What to do?

‍Try to add the location (city) in the search after the name of the restaurant. If the restaurant still doesn't appear, it is because the restaurant search is provided by a third operator and is limited to businesses registered on Google.

We are working to get all the hidden gems on the World of Mouth map as well. You can also email us at info@worldofmouth.app and we can add it manually for you.

How do I add a recommendation?

You have two ways to add a recommendation.

Create button
1. Press the Create button on the navigation bar.
2. Choose Recommendation
3. Search for the name of the restaurant. If the restaurant is not yet recommended in the app, press "Add it to World of Mouth" and search for the restaurant.
4. Select the restaurant.
5. Add your recommendation text, pictures and tags and press "Post".

Restaurant page
1. Go to the restaurant page of the restaurant you want to recommend.
2. Press "Recommend"
3. Add your recommendation text, pictures and tags and press "Post".
